Verdana at large point sizes.

Something that just hit me is how bad the font Verdana looks when made large like a header...

I tried with a few 'regular' fonts and none seemed to look as bad, the usual Helvetica, Myriad etc. but for some reason, (might be personal preference) I can't stand verdana when it's large.

have you got any advice on what font works best at really small scales in CS2, cause atm im using trebuchet MS at 10pt on an image about 100 x 50 pixels, but im still not happy with the text; its still way too fluffy.

Arial is still one of the 'straightest' and sharpest.
